Dr. Jaafar Alghazo - Ph.D. (Southern Illinois University, USA)

Jaafar Alghazo is an Associate Professor and  Lieutenant Colonel at the Department of Computer Engineering, Virginia Military Instituteobtained. He obtained his Ph.D. and MSc in Computer Engineering from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2004 and 2000 respectively. He joined Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU) as founding Dean of the College of Computer Engineering and Science and held various positions including Dean of Graduate Studies and Research, Dean of Institutional Relations, and Dean of Continuing Education and Community Service. Currently, he is an Associate Professor at Virginia Military Institute. His research interests include Machine learning, Image Processing, Medical Image Processing, Modelling and Realization of Biological mechanisms using CAD and FPGAs, Modelling and Realization of Arithmetic Operations using CAD, and FPGAs, Low Power Cache Design, and Assistive Technology for students with disabilities.

Dr. Ghassen Ben Brahim - Ph.D. (Western Michigan University, USA)

Ghassen Ben Brahim is serving as Dean of the College of Computer Engineering and Sciences, Prince Mohammed University. He received a Ph.D.  in computer science from Western Michigan University (USA). He worked as a Systems Analyst Engineer at the Integrated Defense Systems of Boeing and as a research visitor at the US Naval Research Lab. His research interests include machine learning, computer and network security, wireless networks, QoS routing in large-scale MANETs, routing in all-optical networks, and the design and analysis of network protocols.

Prof. Arfan Jaffar - Ph.D. (National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, Pakistan)

Arfan Jaffar is severing as Dean, Superior University Gold Campus, Lahore, Pakistan. He received the B.Sc. degree (Hons.) from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, Pakistan, in 2000, the M.Sc. degree in computer science from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2003, and the M.S. degree in computer science and the Ph.D. degree from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, Islamabad, in 2006 and 2009, respectively. He was a Research Professor with the Signal and Image Processing Laboratory, School of Mechatronics, Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology. He also worked as an Assistant Professor with Al Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He is currently a full Professor at Superior University, Lahore, Pakistan. His research interests include image processing and computational intelligence.

Dr. Nazeeruddin Mohammad - Ph.D. (University of Ulster, UK)

Nazeeruddin Mohammad is Director of Cyber Security Center and Associate Professor at Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University, Saudi Arabia. Earlier, he completed his Ph.D. from the School of Computing and Information Engineering at the University of Ulster, Coleraine, UK in 2007. He received his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Osmania University, India in 1996. He has an M.S. degree in Systems Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM), KSA in 1999. He also received practical training and an Honours Diploma in Software Development from BDPS, India in 1997. Prior to the current position, he worked as an IT Infrastructure Manager/Administrator and Lecturer at KFUPM (KSA), as a postgraduate researcher at the University of Ulster (UK), as a research intern at Cisco Systems (USA), and as an IT Infrastructure Manager/Administrator and Researcher at Portland House Research Group (Australia). He is a recipient of the M.S. Research Scholarship from KFUPM (1997), Vice Chancellors Research Scholarship from the University of Ulster (2004), and first prize in the Faculty of Engineering Business Plan Competition at the University of Ulster (2006). He is actively involved in the TPC/Review committees of renowned conferences namely IEEE WCNC 2006, IEEE VTC 2006, IEEE GLOBECOM 2006, Malaysian research conference 2011, and IEEE ICC 2012 Wireless Networking Symposium.

D.N.F. Awang Iskandar - Ph.D. (RMIT University, Australia)

Dayang NurFatimah Awang Iskandar is an associate professor at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FCSIT), UNIMAS, Sarawak. She obtained her Bachelor degree (Hons) in Information Technology (majoring in Computational Science) from UNIMAS. She holds a Master in Multimedia Computing from Monash University, Australia, and a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), Australia. She pursued her postdoctoral studies with the Biomedical Informatics Systems Engineering Laboratory (BISEL), Heriot-Watt University, UK, working under the EU-funded project ─ Combining and Uniting Business Intelligence with Semantic Technologies (CUBIST). Recently, she was attached as a researcher at Jodrell Bank Centre for Astrophysics, Department of Physics and Astronomy, The University of Manchester. Dayang has expertise in Spatio-temporal image analysis, semantic representation, and retrieval, her research focuses on minimizing the gap between image features and high-level semantics in the domain of medicine, agriculture, and astronomy.

Prof. R. Maheswar - Ph.D. (Anna University, India)

R. Maheswar is an Associate Director and Professor at the KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, India. He completed his B.E (ECE) from Madras University in the year 1999, M.E (Applied Electronics) from Bharathiyar University in the year 2002, and Ph.D. in the field of Wireless Sensor Network from Anna University in the year 2012. He has about 17 years of teaching experience at various levels and presently working as a Professor in the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department, Sri Krishna College of Technology, Coimbatore. He has published 50 papers in International Journals and International Conferences. His research interest includes Wireless Sensor Network, Queueing theory, and Performance Evaluation.

Abul Bashar is currently working as Assistant Professor at Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the College of Computer Engineering and Sciences. Earlier, he completed his Ph.D. from the School of Computing and Information Engineering at the University of Ulster, Coleraine, UK in 2011. He is a recipient of the Osmania University Engineering Gold Medal in 1995, M.S. Research Scholarship from KFUPM (1996), and Vice Chancellors Research Scholarship from University of Ulster (2008). Dr. Khaled Fawagreh - Ph.D. (Robert Gordon University, UK)

Khaled Fawagreh is a Lecturer in the department of Information Technology at Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University. Prior to joining PMU, he was a Lecturer in the department of Computer Science & Software Engineering at the University of Hail, Saudi Arabia. He also has over six years of industry experience in the areas of document engineering and network management. He holds a Ph.D. from the School of Computing Science & Digital Media at Robert Gordon University in the UK, an MSc in Computer Science from Dalhousie University in Canada, and a BSc. in Computer Science from York University in Canada. His main research areas are data mining and machine learning.

Roxane Mallouhy - Ph.D. Scholar (FEMTO-ST, France)

Roxane Mallouhy is teaching since 2016 at the College of Computer Engineering and Science, Prince Mohammed Bin Fahd University, Saudi Arabia. She is also a Ph.D. Scholar at Femto-st (research institute in Besançon, France) in the research area of Artificial Intelligence specifically Time Series Forecasting. Moreover, I received my engineering degree in Telecommunications and Networks from Antonin University in Lebanon in 2015, in parallel with my Master’s degree, in Mobile and Distributed Computing from Franche-Comté University in France.

Mohsin Butt - Ph.D. Scholar (University of Malaysia Sarawak)

Mohsin Butt is Program Coordinator at the College Of Applied And Supporting Studies, King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals. He received the B.Sc.(Hons) degree in electrical engineering with specialization in Electronics and Telecommunication from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan in 2009, and the MS degree in Computer Engineering from the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia in 2013. In 2009, he joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Engineering and Technology, as a Lecturer. After completing his MS in 2013, he has been with the PYP Computer Science Department at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, as a Lecturer. His current research interests include image processing, video, and data compression, and parallel processing.
